Itinerary
Expand allDay 1: Transfer to Murchison Falls and Evening Game Drive
Depart early from Kampala or Entebbe and journey north toward Murchison Falls National Park. Enjoy scenic countryside views, traditional villages, and rolling landscapes along the way.
Upon arrival, head straight for an en route game drive as you enter the park. Watch for Rothschild giraffes, elephants, hartebeest, buffalo, and predators such as lions and leopards.
In the afternoon, visit the top of Murchison Falls where the Nile explodes through a narrow 7 meter gorge. Feel the thunder of the water and capture spectacular photos.
Check in to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay inside or near the park.
Day 2: Morning Game Drive and Nile Boat Safari
Begin the day with an early morning game drive across the northern banks of the park, the best time to spot predators returning from the hunt. The golden savannah offers excellent photography opportunities and abundant wildlife sightings.
After lunch, embark on a boat safari along the Nile River toward the base of Murchison Falls. This cruise offers unmatched views of hippos, giant crocodiles, elephants, and a wide variety of bird species along the riverbanks.
